Francesco Scognamiglio's Spring 2012 Collection

Francesco Scognamiglio was born is Pompeii in 1975 and emerged as an Italian Stylist.  He opened up his first Atelier when he was 23 and bases his designs out of Italy.  Dressing some of Hollywoods elite including Lady Gaga and Madonna, he is thinking of moving his Fashion House to Paris to further develop his creativity and brand.
A collection inspired by "The Women of the 20's", Scognamiglio showcased sheer fabrics exposing breats and undergarments, updated the ivory, peach and mint blue lace detailing to reflect the modern women of today.  The mixture of the sheer fabrics and the shapes created makes the collection wearable to a certain degree.  Nothing a bra or tank top can't fix.  However, I dont know how excepted sheer bottoms would be in everyday wear.  Even though Lady Gaga can pull it off, that doesnt mean you can too!

What do you think of Scognamiglio's Spring 2012 Collection?

Learning about New Designers always inspire me, while watching Fashion Television the other night Francesco Scognamiglio's Collection was shown.  Since I loved his collection and didnt know a thing about him, I had to learn more.  Glad I did, now I look forward to future collections from Mr.Scognamiglio.
